Mother Voice
For those preparing to give birth, exploring the voice-womb connection and the power of sound in labor.

Reclaiming the Sound of Birth

There was a time I didn’t know my voice could open my body.
That my sound could soften the pain.
That I could meet the threshold of pain not with silence or fear but with a vibration that said:
I am here. I am with you. We are doing this together.

This offering was born from the learning that the voice and the womb are not separate. They come from the same embryonic root the same thread of life shaping throat and cervix.

Which means: when we open our mouth, we are also opening our pelvis.
When we make sound, we are not “losing control,” we are inviting our body back to its own rhythm.
When we tone, hum, cry, groan, or chant we are telling our nervous system: we are safe now.
We are letting oxytocin flow.
We are letting the body birth the way it was designed to connected, rhythmic, primal, wise.

We’ve been told to stay quiet.
Taught to be polite, to “breathe through it,” to numb the power of sound.
But our voice is a midwife, too.

In Mother Voice, we remember this.
We learn how to use our sound to co-regulate with the body.
We practice tone as a way of descent not escape.
We learn how to meet the pain without bracing, how to speak from the womb, how to listen to the body’s own song and echo it back.

This is not about singing in tune.
It’s about becoming attuned.

To the earth.
To your baby.
To your breath.
To the blueprint of birth that lives inside your bones.

This is for you if:

  • You’re pregnant and want tools to soften, ground, and open during labor.

  • You’re a doula or birth worker wanting to bring vocal regulation into the birthing space.

  • You’re reconnecting to your body after birth, loss, or birth trauma.

  • You’re remembering your voice as a sacred instrument of power, prayer, and presence.

We don’t just birth babies we birth ourselves.
The voice guides us through the portal.
And she’s been waiting for us to come home to our bodies.

This offering is a tapestry of 3 sessions were will discover your birthing song and vocal techniques to help your body ride the waves of birth.
